Website Theme
What is a theme?
What I find as the first major step in the promotion of business over the Internet is to match the theme of the business into the website design. By doing this, it captures the companies image you might say reinforces the branding through web design. I regard this as the first critical step as the saying goes a picture is worth a thousand words.
Branding is the logo, slogan or both in some cases that brings to mind an association to the consumer. Lets take for example Lowe’s Home Improvement Center by looking at all the brick and mortar store fronts you can associate Lowe’s stores by there logo (a shape of a house) with the business name. There website using the same logo with business name reinforces the branding of the company when consumers see it.
Not all business may not have a company logo or maybe just a generic one this is possible from looking at company places of business. That is all well and good for customers that are familiar with the place of business, but what if they are not. Maybe the company is local or regional and half way around the world they are not recognized? By having the right theme for a business website helps reinforce branding of that business.
Please feel free to post any thoughts or comments.
